SEAMLESS
THE PROJECT
SEAMLESS is demonstrating how automation, remote operation and digitalisation can support a more efficient and competitive European waterborne freight transport system. Over the course of the project, SEAMLESS has developed and integrated technologies addressing autonomous and remotely supervised vessel operation, Remote Operation Centres (ROCs), automated port operations, and digital tools supporting multimodal logistics.
The SEAMLESS project addresses the call topic HORIZON-CL5-2022-D5-01-05: Seamless safe logistics through an autonomous waterborne freight feeder loop service, and has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement N° 101096923.
